ACAPELLA
WEISSBURGUNDER RISERVA
South Tyrolean DOC
We created the ‘Acapella’ - a Weissburgunder from our premium Riserva range – by selecting Pinot Blanc grapes from the two vineyard sites Trifall and Barleit, both east-facing and located at elevations of between 400 and 450 metres. The eroded shell limestone from the Mendel mountain range forms the basis for this mineral-rich Weissburgunder.

Our Goldmuskateller is a brilliant golden-yellow in colour with soft greenish reflections. It has a fruity scent and tastes of nutmeg and tropical fruits and reveals a dry elegance and minerality on the palate.

Pinot Noir Rosé

The Blauburgunder rosé ‘Summer’ is the perfect companion in the summer months. We’ve been producing this light, fresh rosé since 2006. Only Pinot Noir grapes from the period between the first harvest and the tenth year of growth are used.

This Kalterersee is a single-variety Vernatsch. Together with the ‘Plantaditsch’ Riserva, the ‘Kalterersee’ from our classic line is one of the Klosterhof’s flagship varieties. This wine has its origins in our home region and is synonymous with the local craft of wine-making.

The ‘Plantaditsch’ is made from a selection of grapes from the oldest Vernatsch vines in our Plantaditsch location and is one of the Klosterhof’s three flagship varieties. This premium wine from our Riserva range is produced in accordance with the strict regulations of the Kalterersee Charta and is only available two years after the harvest.

PINOT NOIR
Schwarze Madonna

This Blauburgunder from our classic range is one of our flagship varieties. In the glass, this Blauburgunder beguiles with its dense, vibrant cherry-red hue. The bouquet discloses red berries, cherries and well-integrated toasted flavours. The wine reveals all its complexity on the palate with long-lasting fruit flavours, tannins and a harmoniously integrated woody note.

The ‘Schwarze Madonna’ Blauburgunder is not only one of our leading varieties; it is also one of our special premium wines of which no more than 2,000 bottles are produced each year. This Riserva requires several years to develop its full potential.
MERLOT RISERVA

In the glass, our compelling Merlot Riserva ‘Nussbaum’ features a rich, crimson hue. Its bouquet discloses dark fruits of the forest such as bramble and wild cherry, accompanied by delicate nuances of liquorice. The Merlot Riserva is full-bodied and long-lasting on the palate, with delicate toasted aromas.
